The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has increased the prices of 869 medicines for many other diseases including cancer. NPPA issued the notification and said that the price of these drugs has increased by 3.44 percent as per the revised revision based on the annual wholesale price index.

CDSCO's new intelligence cell to check illegal activity in India’s pharma sector
The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO), India’s central drug regulator, has set up a nine-member intelligence cell to track illegal activity in the country’s pharmaceutical sector.
This includes gathering information on the medicines and cosmetics imported or exported against the law and investigating complaints related to medicine quality received from overseas regulatory agencies, according to an office order dated March 26.
The intelligence cell will be in charge of collecting and collating information on activities carried out in contravention to the provisions of the Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1940, stated the order, which ET has seen.

Drugs and appliances scandal in the health department have started to open. It is worth noting that keeping the rules in Rewari, the tender of the drug pichchase was given to the company named Sagan in Hisar, which did not have the eligibility involved in the bid. Surprisingly, this disturbance of purchase and sale was done for 3 consecutive years and together with 6 companies. During this time, around two crore drugs were procured.

FDA warns consumers not to use unapproved erectile dysfunction products advertised on the radio
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is warning consumers not to purchase or use drugs advertised nationwide as a “healthy man alternative to the little blue pill” or “healthy man,” or “the power pill” for erectile dysfunction on broadcast and internet radio platforms such as iHeart Radio, as these drugs have not been approved by FDA.

The last date for linking the Aadhaar to the beneficiary's card is kept March 31. Even if the base link is not available then the beneficiaries will be deprived of facilities.
