Notice given to 14 drug companies

There is a shocking news from Asstalpura of Uttar Pradesh. Here, the team of the Department of Drugs procured more than one and a half million counterfeit medicines.
 Experts said the drug was fake in the initial investigation, although it is yet to be fully investigated. One accused, who supplied drug supply in the under-construction house, has been arrested. Not only this, notices have also been sent to 14 companies of the drug including six foreigners.
After getting information on supply of fake drugs from Prince Road, officials of the drug department made plans for action. Under this, drug deputy RP Pandey and drug inspector Naresh Mohan Deepak conducted raids along with heavy police force. A large number of counterfeit drugs were found in a construction house in front of the garbage on Prince Road in Asalatpura. The police detained the main accused, Islam alias Ismail, in the spot. He gave more information about a large room filled with medicines in the interrogation.
A drug worth Rs 1.67 crore was recovered during this raid. The name of the physician samples of 14 nominal companies, including six foreigners, has been stamped on this drug. Notices have been issued to all drug companies
