Important news for all the beneficiaries involved in the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS). The basis for all beneficiaries connected with CGHS has been made mandatory. The last date for linking the Aadhaar to the beneficiary's card is kept March 31. Even if the base link is not available then the beneficiaries will be deprived of facilities.
The order issued by the Center's Health and Family Welfare Department will affect the country's nearly three million people, because it is said that the number of beneficiaries is around 3 million in the whole country. Central employees, pensioners and dependents get free medicine and treatment through CGHS. CGHS cards are being issued to the new beneficiaries of CGHS after they are linked with the beneficiary ID number. The beneficiaries of CGHS have been told that they should make their adhar number available in the dispensary of CGHS in every situation before the scheduled date.
