As the new year is passing, problems are increasing for the pharma industry. Over 100 pharma industries in Himachal Pradesh have lost the sword of action.
Not good news for the rest of the country In the last 13 months, samples of 131 medicines of these industries have failed. The samples of continuous medicines are going to fail, which seems to create trouble for pharmaceutical makers in the state.
There are many industries in this, whose samples of more than one medication have failed. Of course, no specific action has been taken against such pharma industry, but due to the strong approach of health minister Vipin Parmar, now the drug department has become strict. This clearly means that action may soon be taken against the pharma industry.
In the last 13 months (January 2017 to January 2018) samples of 407 medicines have failed, out of which 131 medicines were made in Himachal. In the country, the samples of the medicines are going to fail, every fourth of them is from Himachal. This leads to loss of image of the state at the national level.
At the same time, state drug controller Navneet Marwah will take strict action against those industries whose drugs have failed in the samples of the drug department. However, the department is continuously taking action against such industries. Now it will be interesting to see what effect this action has on the pharma industry.
