their plans are not always fulfilled. In one such case, an FIR has been lodged against accused woman, Ahir Rohini Pradeep, in an effort to obtain a certificate from a pharmacist.
According to information, in year 2015, a woman named Ahir Rohini Pradeep presented documents of her academic qualification to the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council for getting the certificate of diploma in pharmacy. Regarding this, the registrar style of Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council, S.Mashal said that only after examining the authenticity of the applicants' certificates, they issue Diploma in Pharmacy Certificate.
He said that the documents of Ahir Rohini Pradeep were also sent to the Acharya and BM College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru to check the truth. From there the council was informed that Ahir Rohini Pradeep never received education in the said college.
So this document is baseless. Taking cognizance of this, the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council filed a case against Ahir Rohini Pradeep in the police under the Indian Penal Code, 420, 465, 466, 468, 471, 529. At present, the police is engaged in the process of implementing further action. The registrar said that in the last 5 years, there have been names of about 10 people who applied for fake registration. Police action against them is in progress.
During the Maharashtra tour of Union Health Minister JP Nadda recently, Kailash Tham Le, President of Maharashtra State Pharmacists Association handed over a demand letter to him and asked him to take strict action against the mess in the registration of fake pharmacist.
